Why The Name On Your Account Was Updated After ID Verification
Unlike other OTA's and rental platforms, users on HouseStay must complete a background check as well as sign a lease a apart of the booking process. Due to this we need to ensure the user of the account is who they say they are, this means once an id is verified the name on the users HouseStay account will be updated to the displayed name on their id and cannot be changed.
NOTE: Once an id has been verified the name on the account cannot be updated, so be sure you verify your own id for your own account and do not use anyone else's id when you complete the id verification process.
