When Is The Listing Calendar Blocked For A Booking
A listing calendar is not blocked out on the HouseStay platform until the tenant has made the "due at booking payment", which they have 24 hours to do after the host accepts their booking request.
As soon as the tenant has made the due at booking payment; the listing calendar will be blocked out for their stay dates and the listing will then be "reserved" for that tenant for the next 24 housing giving them time to complete the rest of their booking process.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A unit is not "reserved" until the tenant makes the due at booking payment, this means other potential renters can send booking requests and book the property up until a tenant has made the due at booking payment.
