What Is The Difference Between A Booking Request And A Message?
On the HouseStay platform potential renters can either a message or a booking request. The difference between a message and a booking request is the following:
Message: A message does not contain a potential renters stay dates, and does not have an expiration clock so does not expire. You cannot see any potential earnings when a renter sends you a message as it does not contain their desired stay dates.
Booking Request: A booking request contains the potential renters desired stay dates, and hosts have 24 hours to respond to a booking request before it expires. When a potential renter sends a host a booking request the host will be able to see the requested stay dates, potential monthly earnings, as well the total potential earnings from the entire stay.
