How To Accept A Booking Request
After you receive a booking request from a potential renter, hosts will have 24 hours to respond to the booking request before it expires.
Step-By-Step How To Respond To A Booking Request
1. Login to your HouseStay account
2. Go to your dashboard
- You can see the pending request under the "items awaiting action" section
- You can also see the booking request under the "pending requests" section of your inbox
3. Click into the booking
4. Take Action: You will have the ability to do the following
- Accept the booking request
- Send a special offer
- Decline the booking request
- Reply to the renter's message (does not reset the 24-hour expiration clock)
- Send an alternative option (does not reset the 24-hour expiration clock)
5. After you have taken action on the booking request (accepted, sent special offer declined) the expiration clock will reset to 24 hours; giving the renters 24 hours to make the due at booking payment
