How To Send Alternative Options
After you receive a message or booking request from a potential renter, hosts can send them alternative options if they have other units they think may be a better fit. Once an alternative option is sent, the potential renters can click on the link and then choose to send a message or booking request to the alternative property or properties that the host sent.
Step-By-Step How To Send Alternative Options
1. Login to your HouseStay account
2. Go to your dashboard
- You can see the unread message or pending request under the "items awaiting action" section
- You can also see the booking request under the "unread messages" or "pending requests" sections of your inbox
3. Click into the direct message or booking
4. Send the alternative options: You can enter the renters desired stays dates to you are only show alternative options that are available for their desired stay dates
- You can search by address, distance, listing id, etc. to sort though all your alternative options
- You can also send multiple alternative options if you would like
